Zonta is a global service organisation of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women through service and advocacy.

District 23 includes all Zonta clubs in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
(District 24 covers New South Wales,and the ACT; District 22 covers Queensland.)

The District comprises 5 Areas which in turn are made up of several Zonta Clubs (37 clubs in total). Please refer to 'Areas and Clubs' to locate and contact your nearest club and see when they meet.

Zonta International District 23 also supports clubs in the district who are involved in our District Projects. Current District Projects: Zonta Breast Care Cushions (to assist breast cancer patients in their rehabilitation); Zonta Birthing Kits (sent to needy countries to assist women to birth without medical assistance); Yarri Wada : Strong for Country Puppet Project. Ballarat's YWPA Award winner in the press

In recognition of the Zonta Club of Ballarat's 30 years of service, an exhibition called 'Walking in their Shoes'. The exhibition will run until 28th February 2009.
