Advocacy Chair

 

As a member of the Zonta Club of Geelong since 2019, Nicole joined Zonta to take meaningful, community‑based action to advance gender equality and eliminate violence against women—values shaped by her long background in community leadership and professional experience in legal compliance and public sector program leadership roles.

Nicole Sanders serves as the Zonta District 23 Advocacy Chair for the 2026–2028 biennium, leading advocacy across Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. She supports clubs to take confident, coordinated action aligned with Zonta International’s priorities—eliminating violence against women, advancing climate justice, strengthening women’s representation, and promoting education equality. Nicole works closely with club Advocacy Champions, builds partnerships, amplifies Zonta’s global initiatives, and ensures District 23’s advocacy is visible, strategic and impactful throughout the biennium.
