About Veronika:
Veronika joined the Zonta Club of Storm Bay in Hobart in 2003 and served one term as President and one term as Secretary. Veronika resigned to pursue other interests and then rejoined in 2016 as a member of the Zonta Club of Hobart. She has served 2 terms as President and one term as Secretary. Veronika has chaired the District 23 By-laws and Resolutions Committee for the biennium 2020-2022, was a member of that Committee for the biennium 2024-2026. She is a member of that Committee for 2026-2028. Veronika is a retired lawyer, having worked for the Government of Tasmania as Deputy Chief Parliamentary Counsel, drafting Government legislation.
‘During the next two years I will focus on:
- Membership: Recruiting and retaining new members
- Service: Evaluating existing service projects to see if they are fit for purpose. Exploring possible partnerships to expand our service projects. Exploring avenues for grants and financial assistance.
- Club Creation: Assist in the creation of the new Tamar Club’
